About Doug

 

Before moving to Pennsylvania, Doug Solter worked behind the scenes in local television for over twenty-five years. He began writing screenplays in 1998, then made the switch to young adult fiction in 2012. Doug likes cats, loves the mountains, and one time walked the streets of Barcelona with a smile. Doug is a member of SCBWI and Pennwriters.

His screenplays have been semi and quarter finalists in the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences' Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting.
